Uniflower Swisscentaury Root is the dried root of Rhaponticum uniflorum (L. ) DC (Fam. Compositae).

Action: To remove toxic heat for treating subcutaneo- us infections, to promote lactation, and to relieve muscular contracture.

Indications: Mastitis with swelling and pain,carbun- cle, scrofula and ulcers; galactostasis; arthritis with ankylosis.

Precaution: Used with caution in pregnancy.
