Szechwan Chinaberry Bark is the dried stem bark or root bark
of Melia toosendan Sieb. et Zucc.or Melia
azedarach L. (Fam. Meliaceae).
Action:
To repel worms and cure dermatosis.
Indications:
Ascariasis, oxyutiasis, abdomina pain due to intestinal
parasitosis. External use
for scabies and tinea.
Dosage: For
external use, appropriate quantity to be ground into powder
and applies topically after mixing with lard.
Precaution:
Used with caution in patients with hepatitis or
nephritis.
