Yam Rhizome is the dried rhizome of Dioscorea septemloba
Thunb. or Dioscorea futschauensis Uline (Fam. Dioscoreaceae).
Action:
To remove turbid
damp, and to relieve rheumatic conditions.
Indications:
Gonorrhea with Whitish discharge from the urethra,
excessivo leukorrhea; ulcers caused by damp-heat; arthralgia
of the lumbar spine and knees.
