Scorpion is the dried body of Buthus martensii Karsch (Fam.Buthidae).

Action: To relieve convulsions, to combat poisons and reduce nodulation, to remove obstructions from the collaterals, and to relieve pain.

Indications: Infantile convulsion; twitching, spasm; apoplectic hemiplegia; tetanus; chronic arthritis; headache or migraine; sores; scrofula.
