Action:
To draw out of
the pus, remove the putrid tissues and promote the growth
of new tissues.
Indications:
Carbuncles, sores, chancre and other malignant boils
with darkcoloured putrid tissues, formation of fistulae or
sinuses, constant discharge of pus, and difficult to heal
up.
Usage and dosage:
For external use only; appropriate quantity of
its fine powder to be used alone or mixed with other ingredients
and made into powder or medicated thread.
Precaution:
No oral administration because of its toxicity.
Persistent external use in large dosage is also prohibited.
