(Fam. Cruciferae).
Action:
To promote digestion
and relieve abdominal distension, and to relieve cough and
resolve phlegm.
Indications:
Retention of undigested food with epigastric and abdominal
distension and pain, and constipation; diarrhea due to stagnation
of undigested food; cough and dyspnea with copious expectoration.
