Perilla Stem is the dried stem of Perilla frutescens (L. ) Britt. (Fam. Labiatae).

Action: To regulate the flow of qi and the function of the stomach, to alleviate pain, and to prevent abortion.

Indications: Feeling of stuffiness in the chest, epigastralgia, belching and vomiting; threatened abortion.
