Euphorbia pekinensis Rupr.

         Peking Euphorbia Root is the dried root of Euphorbia pekinensis Rupr.(Fam.Euphor- biaceae).

Action: To cause drastic purgation.

Indications: Anasarca, hydrothorax and ascites with dyspnea, constipation and olinguria.

Precaution: Contraindicated in pregnancy. Incompatible with Radix Glycyrrhizae.
