Papermulberry Fruit is the dried ripe fruit of Broussonetia papyrifera (L. ) Vent. (Fam. Moraceae ).

Action: To replenish the kidney, to subdue hyperactivity of the liver, to clear the eye of opacity, and to cause diuresis.

Indications: Aching and weakness of the loins and knees, consumptive fever, dizziness and blurred vision; nebula; edema.
