Medicinal Changium Root is the dried root of Changium smyrnioides Wolff (Fam. Umbelliferae).

Action: To moisten the lung and resolve phlegm, nourish yin and regulate the function of the stomach, to subdue hyperactivity of the liver, and to counteract toxicity.

Indications: Cough caused by heat in the lung; vomiting, regurgitation, anorexia and dryness of the mouth; bloodshot eyes and vertigo; boils and sores.
