Lophatherum Herb is the dried stem and leaf of Lophatherum gracile Brongn. (Fam. Gramineae).

Action: To remove heat, ease the mind and cause diuresis.

Indications: Fidgetness and thirst in febrile diseases; dysuria with reddened urine and painful urination, ulcers in the mouth or on the tongue.
