Kelp or Tangle is the dried thalline of Laminaria japonica
Aresch. (Fam. Laminariaceae).or Ecklonia kurome Okam.
(Fam. Alariaceae).
Action:
To eliminate phlegm, soften hard masses
and dissolve lumps , and to cause diuresis.
Indications:
Goiter, scrofula, swelling and pain of the testis;
edema.
