Inula Herb is the dried aerial part of Inula linariifolia
Turcz. or Inula japonica Thunb. (Fam.Compositae).
Action:
To relieve cough
and dyspnea, and eliminate retained phlegm.
Indications:
Cough in colds with retention of phlegm marked by dyspnea
, profuse expectoration
and feeling of stuffiness in the chest; external use for pyogenic
infections of the skin.
Usage: Appropriate
quantity of the fresh herb to be pounded for juice for topical
application.
