Inula Flower is the dried capitulum of Inula japonica Thunb.
or Inula britannica L. (Fam. Compositae).
Action:
To relieve cough, eliminate phlegm, promote
diuresis, and arrest vomiting.
Indications:
Cough in common cold; cough with dyspnea and copious
expectoration due to accumulation of phlegm; belching, nausea
and vomiting with stuffiness sensaton in the epigastric region.
Usage: To
be wrapped in making decoction.
