Honeysuckle Stem is the dried stem and branch of Lonicera japonica Thunb. (Fam. Caprifoliaceae).

Action: To remove toxic heat, and to dispel wind from the channels and collaterals.

Indications: Epidemic febrile diseases, acute dysentery, carbuncles, sores, acute arthritis with redness, swelling and pain of the joint.
