Hogfennel Root is the dried root of Peucedanum praeruptorum
Dunn or Peucedanum decursivum Maxim. (Fam.
Umbelliferae).
Action:
To dispel wind and remove heat, and to relieve
cough and resolve phlegm.
Indications:Cough
and dyspnea in respiratory infections with copious of yellowish
sticky expectoration.
