Hempleaf Negundo Chastetree Leaf is the fresh leaf of Vitex negundo L. var. cannabifolia (Sieb. et Zucc.) Hand -Mazz. (Fam. Verbenaceae).

Action: To counteract toxicity, and to induce expectoration, relieve cough and asthma.

Indications: Chronic bronchitis with cough and asthma.

Usage: Used while fresh for the extraction of Oleum Viticis Negundo.
