Fresh Ginger is the fresh rhizome of Zingiber officinale (Willd.) Rosc. (Fam.Zingiberaceae).

Action: To induce perspiration and dispel cold, to warm the stomach and arret vomiting, and to resolve phlegm and relieve cough.

Indications: Common cold, vomiting caused by cold in the stomach; cough with expectoration of whitish thin sputum.
