Fortune Eupatorium Herb is the dried aerial part of Eupatorium fortunei Turcz. (Fam. Compositae).

Action: To resolve damp, invigorate the function of the spleen and improve appetite by its spicy fragrance, and to expel summer heat from the body surface.

Indications: Accumulation of damp in the spleen and stomach marked by stuffiness in the epigastrium, nausea, sweet taste and sticky sensation in the mouth, foul breath and salivation; affection by summer heat and damp marked by sensation of distension in the head and stuffiness in the chest.
