Figwortflower Picrorhiza Rhizome is the dried rhizome of Picrorhiza scrophulariiflora Pennell (Fam. Scrophulariaceae).

Action: To rmove damp-heat, and to relieve comsumptive fever.

Indications: Dysentery or jaundice caused by damp-heat; hemorrhoids; consumptive fever and fever in infantile malnutrition due to digestive disturbance.
