Fennelflower Seed is the dried seed of Nigella glandulifera Freyn (Fam. Ranunculaceae). used commonly by the Uygur nationality.

Action: To replenish the kidney and benefit the brain, to stimulate menstruation, to promote the flow of milk, and to induce diuresis.

Indications:Tinnitus and forgetfulness; amenorrhea; inadequate secretion of milk; urinary infection, urolithia- sis .

Precaution: Contraindcated in pregnancy and in patients with febrile diseases.
