Ephedra Root is the dried root and hizome of Ephedra sinica Stapf or Ephedra intermedia Schrenk et C. A. Mey. (Fam. Ephedraceae).

Action: To arrest perspiration.

Indications: Spontaneous sweationg, night sweating.

Usage: For external use, appropriate quantity to be ground into powder and dabbed on the skin.
