Common Fenugreek Seed is the dried ripe seed of Trigonella
foenum-graecum L. (Fam .Leguminosae).
Action:
To warm the kidney, dispel cold, and relieve
pain.
Indications:
Cold syndrome of the kidney due to yang deficiency
marked by pain and coldness in the lower abdomen; hernia;
weakness and edema of the legs caused by cold-damp.
