Common Dayflower Herb is the dried aerial part of Commelina
communis L. (Fam. Commelinaceae).
Action:
To remove toxic heat, and to cause diuresis.
Indications:
Upper respiratory infection with high fever and sore
throat; edema, acute urinary infection with painful difficult
urination; acrbuncles and boils.
Usage: Of
the fresh herb; appropriate quantity for external use.
