Action:
To remove heat
and quench fire, and to promote the production of body fluid
and relieve dryness syndromes.
Indications:
Febrile diseases with high fever and dire thirst; heat
in the lung with dry cough; consumptive fever; diabetes due
to internal heat; constipation.
