Cockcomb Flower is the dried capitulum of Celosia cristata L. (Fam. Amaranthaceae).

Action: To arrest discharge (bleeding leukorrhea and diarrhea) as an astringent.

Indications: Hematemesis, abnormal uterine bleeding hematochezia, hemorrhoidal bleeding, morbid leukorrhea, chronic dysentery with persistent diarrhea.
