Citron Fruit is the dried ripe fruit of Citrus medica L. or Citrus wilsonii Tanaka (Fam. Rutaceae).

Action: To regulate the flow of qi in the liver, spleen and stomach, and to resolve phlegm.

Indications: Stagnation of qi in the liver and stomach manifested by distending pain in the chest and hypochodria, fullness and stuffiness sensation in the epigastrium, vomiting and belching; cough with copicus expectoration.
