Chlorite Schist is a black mica schist or a carbonate schist of chlorite mica of metamorphic group.

Action: To eliminate phlegm to relieve cough and dyspnea, and to subdue the hyperactivity of the liver to arrest convulsions.

Indications: Cough and dyspnea due to retained phlegm; epilepsy, mania, restlessness with distress in the chest, convulsions.

Usage: Usually made in pills or powder for oral administration.
