Chinese Starjasmine Stem is the dried viny stem with leaf of Trachelospermum jasminoides (Lindl.) Lem. (Fam Apocynaceae).

Action: To dispel wind and remove obstruction from the channels and to remove heat from blood and cause subsidence of swelling.

Indications: Rheumatic arthritis with muscular contracture, aching of the loins and knees; inflammation of the throat, carbuncle and boils; traumatic injuries.

Usage: For external use. The fresh drug of appropriate quantity to be pounded into paste for topical application.
