Barbated Skullcup Herb is the dried whole plant of Scutellaria barbata D. Don (Fam.Labiatae).

Action: To remove toxic heat, and to cause diuresis.

Indications: Boils, sores, swelling and pain of the throat, venomous snake-bite, traumatic injuries; edema; jaundice.

Usage:Of the fresh herb; for external use, appropriate quantity to be pounded into paste and applied topically.
