Asiatic Pennywort Herb is the dried whole plant of Centella asiatica (L.) Urb. (Fam. Umbelliferae).

Action: To remove heat and damp, to counteract toxicity, and to cause subsidence of swelling.

Indications: Jaundice caused by dampheat; heat stroke with diarrhea; urolithiasis and hematuria; carbuncles and boils, traumatic injuries.

Usage: Of the fresh herb.
