Ash Bark is the dried branch bark or stem bark of Fraxinus
rhynchophylla Hance, Fraxinus chinensis Roxb.,
Fraxinus chinensis Roxb. var. acuminata Lingelsh.
or Fraxinus stylosa Lingelsh.(Fam. Oleanaceae).
Action:
To remove damp-heat, to arrest discharges,
and to improve eyesight.
Indications:
Acute dysentery and diarrhea; morbid leukorrhea; inflammation
of the eye; nebula.
Usage : For
external use, appropriate quantity to be decocted for washing.
