Aloes is the dried concentrated matter obtained from the juice of the leaf of Aloe barbadensis Miller, Aloe ferox Miller or other species of the same genus.

Action: To remove heat from the liver, and to relax the bowels.

Indications: Constipation; infantile malnutrition due to improper feeding and convulsion; external use for eczema and ringworm.

Dosage: For external use, appropriate quantity to be ground into powder and apaalied topically.
