Indian Trumpetflower Seed is the dried ripe seed of Oroxylum indicum (L. ) Vent. (Fam. Bignoniaceae).

Action: To remove heat from the lung and relieve sore throat, and to regulate the flow of qi of the liver and the stomach.

Indications: Cough, sore throat and hoarseness of voice due to heat in the lung; epigastic pain due to stagnation of qi of the liver and the stomach.
