Ganoderma lucidum spore powder are the seeds released when ganoderma lucidum is ripe. Biologically, they are named spores. Being powder-like when collected, they are normally called ganoderma lucidum spore powder. Till recently, it became to be used and studied. It is very hard to collect the spore powder in the wild conditions. Normally, about 1000kg of ganoderma lucidum can only collect 1kg of spore powder. The diameter of each spore is merely 5-8 micron. To reduce serum cholesterin greatly. To increase the blood pressure of a large rat by feeding it with the high fat feedstuff, and then feed it again with the extracted fluid of ganoderma lucidum, as a result the total cholesterin of the rat dropped more than 40%, and the triglyceride 35-50%. It can also reduce the hydroxyproline content in the blood. To feed a small rat with ganoderma lucidum extracted fluid according to the proportion of 1-5 grams to 1KG of the body weight. It will reduce 10-25% of the hydroxyproline content in the kidney tissue of the rat, while there is little change in the blood hydroxyproline content. The experiment indicates that ganoderma lucidum spore powder can control the increase of mucus content in the tissue, resist the fibrosis of the tissue, prevent the sclerosis of livers and blood vessels, and stop the increasing of GPT caused by CCI4. To feed a small rat with CCI4, and then feed it again with ganoderma lucidum extracted fluid. As a result, the GPT content in the small rat dropped 25-32% than those that didn't feed the fluid. It proved that ganoderma lucidum spores can eliminate the damage to livers caused by chemical drugs.
To reduce the blood sugar greatly. To feed a small rat with 4-oxygen-pyridine so as to increase its blood sugar content, and then feed it again with ganoderma lucidum extracted fluid. The result was that the blood sugar content in the blood dropped 30-60%.
The above medical experiments prove that ganod -erma lucidum spore is an effective factor for curing chronic hepatitis, eliminating the damage to livers caused by chemical drugs, anti-senesce, preventing tissue fibrosis and diabetes.
