Ginseng Leaf is the dried of Panax ginseng C. A. Mey. (Fam. Araliaceac).

Action: To reinforce vital energy, to tonify the lung, to dispel summer heat, and to promote secretion of body fluid.

Indications: Cough due to deficiency of qi; dysphoria due to summer heat; thirst due to impairment of body fluid; lassitude of limbs.

Precaution: Incompatible with Rhizoma et Radix Veratri.
