verbena herb is the dried aerial part of Verbena officinalis
L. (Fam. Verbenaceae).
Action: To promote the
flow of blood and relieve blood stasis, to stop matarial attacks,
to counteract toxicity, and to cause diuresis.
Indications: Masses in
the abdomen; amenorrhea and dysmenorrhea; malaria; inflammation
of the throat, carbuncles, boils, acute infection of the urinary
tract; edema.
