Caper Euphorbia Seed is the dried ripe seed of Euphorbia lathyris L. (Fam. Euphorbiaceae).

Action: To cause drastic purgation for treating edema, and eliminate blood stasis for treating masses.

Indications: Edema or retained fluid with abdominal distension, oliguria and constipation; amenorrhea due to blood stasis; external use for ringworm and verrucous vegetations.

Precaution: Contraindicated in pregnancy or debility with loose bowels.
