Anise Oil is the volatile oil obtained by steam distillation from the fresh branch and leaf or the ripe fruit of Illicium verum Hook. f. (Fam. Magnoliaceae).

Action and indications: Aromatic, flavouring and stomachic.

Dosage: 0.02~0.2ml; 0.06~0.6ml daily.
