rhizome of Zingiber officinale Rosc. Family Zingiberace.
Constituents:
Containing Zingerone, shogaol, zingiberol, zingiberene, etc.
Actions: The leaves
of Zingiber offcinale Rosc could inhibit the proliferation
of carcinocytes.
Indications:Composite
prescription (Xiong Jiang San and Anqing Paste) for cerebral
cancer, hepatocarcinoma, lymphoma, and osteosarcoma.
100 grams of Realgar were filled into
100 grams of zingiberis, baked to yellow, ground into powder.
The paste was heated to make it soft,
then sprinkled with above powder for application to the lesion
or the nearby area evry other day.
Xiong Jiang San and Anqing paste were
always used together for treatment of 777 cases of cerebral
cancer , hepatocarcinoma, lymphoma and osteosarcoma, the total
effective rate was 64.8%, the cases of cerebral cancer have
the most satisfactory effect.
