Constituents:
Cotaining mainly protein,the amount of hydroltic amino acid
was 49.4% An anticoagulant in saliva of fresh Hirudo named
hirudin belonged to polypeptide.
Actions: The injectio
of Hirudo could inhibit the spermatophore division. Tests
showed the injectio is effective against tumor cells in vitro
and against H22 (mouse) in vivo. The extract of Hirudo saliva
injected in to mouse in which inoculated with lung cancer,
it was able to prevent the tumor spreading.
Indications:
It was used for treatment of leukemia, liver intestinalcancer,
oophoroma and hysteromyoma, etc.

This prescription was administered to
67 patients with gastric cancer, it was decocted in waster
for oral administration(one dose daily separating into twice),
among them 4 cases were CR,12 cases were PR 24 cases were
MR, the overall effective rate was 59.7%.

These chinese herbal medicines were ground
into fine powder and made into pills, cervix carcinoma patients
