Actions:The composite
prescription" TianXian" capsule, has certain anticancer
action against various kinds of human cancer cell lines in
vitro. In vivo, at 2~5g/kg*14, with po. its inhibiing rates
against proventricular squamous carcinoma were 36.5%~57.8%,
against S180 were 35.6%~48.3%, against LLC were 48.06% (P<0.05).
Indications:"Tian
Xian" capsule has been used in the treatment of lung,
gastric and esophageal cancers, 10 caps/daily, t.i.d, after
meal administered orally, one course of treatment was 4 weeks,
349 cases of stage III and IV of esophageal and gastric cancer
patients were treated. The results showed that the objective
therapeutic effective rate was 1.2%, improvement rate 2%,
stable 77%, It was combined with radiotherapy treated 364
cases of esophageal cancer, the CR rate increased 21.3%, combined
with chemotherapy the CR rate increased 17.7%.
