Sources:The
whole plant of Taraxacum mongolicum Hand.-Mazz. Family
Compositae.
Constituents:
Containing taraxasterol, taraxacin choline, inulin, pectin,
polysacharide, etc.
Actions: Hot water
extract of the herb has inhibitory action against S180, the
inhinbitory rate was 43.5%. The extract has inhibitory effect
against EAC at dose of 30mg/kg ip. Alcohol extract of the
herb has no effect. The hot water extract was a polysaccharide.
It was a immunological enhancing agent and has inhibitory
action against transplanted human lung cancer cells.
Indications:It
was used for treatment of breast, cervical, gastric, nasopharyngeal
carcinoma and leukemia, etc.

Radix Polygalae 10g
Cortex Cinnamoni 10g
Fructus Trichosanthis 60g
Squama Manitis 6g
Radix Trichosanthis 6g

Radix Astragali 15g
Radix Angelicae Dahuricae 15g

Decoction of the herbs was taken divided
into 2 times, once daily to treat 18 cases of breast cancer.
The clinical result showed that complete remission was in
6 cases and part remission was in 6 cases.
