Constituents:
Containing volatile oils and starch.
Actions: A 30%
injectio which was made by Rhizoma spargarnium and Rhizoma
Zedoariae had a remarkable inhibitory action against Sarcoma-180
in mice.
Indications:
(1)For advanced cervical cancer:
Rhizoma Sparganii 20g

Ramulus Cinnamomi 20g
Poria 20g
Radix Rubiae 20g
Radix Pulsatillae 20g
Herba Scutellariae Barbatae 20g
Cortex Phellodendri 15g
Radix Scutellariae 15g
Cortex Moutan 15g
Radix Paeoniae Rubra 15g
Flos Carthami 15g
Semen Persicae 15g
The above herbs were decocted for oral
adminisration daily, 10 doses as a therapeutic course, and
used to treat 34 cases of advanced cervical cancer (stageII
7 cases, stage III 16 cases and stage IV 11 cases).The results
showed that complete remission was in 24 cases, remarkable
efficacy was in 5 cases, improvement was in 3 cases with a
total effective rate of 94.1%.
(2)For primary hepatocarcinoma:

The decoction of the herbs was taken
daily and used to treat 7 cases of primary hepatocarcinona.
The results showed that the middle survival period was 443
days, while the another 7 cases were treated by CTX,the middle
survival period was 95 days, the difference between the two
groups was significant.
