seed and root of Sophora alopecuroides L. Family Leguminosae.
Constituents:
Containing sophocarpine, matrine and sopordine, etc.
Actions:Sophocarpinge
at dose of 40~60mg/kg*8~13d with ig, its inhibiting rate against
U14, S180,S37 and Lio-1 were 45%,31%, 32% and 56% (P<0.01)
respectively; against W256, the life span prolongating rate
was 36%~55% (P<0.05);on 180,eac atdose of 25 mg/kg*7d with
ip.the life span prolongating rates were 26%~50%; no effect
at dose of 60m g/kg* 5 ~13d with ig, against EAC and L615
tumor models were observed.
Indications:The
total alkaloids treated 12 cases and sophocarpine treated
100 cases of chorioadenoma.
(1)General treatment of the herb:the
total alkaloid 10mg (5gm crude herb/m1) or sophocarpine 200~400mg,
adding 500ml of 5% glucose solution, administered with iv-drip
for 4~6hrs, once a day, treatment course was 10days, between
each courses, the intermittent was 5~7 days. A small number
of patients treated 2~3 times/a day, the course of treatment
was same as above.
(2)Local used of the herb:it was suitable
for treatment of metastasis in vagina. The total alkaloids
or sophocarpine at dose of 200~400mg injected into the area
between the lesion and normal tissue, after 2~3 times injections
may inject it into the center of tumor, once daily, until
the tumor becoming dry and fall down.
The results showed that the recent therapeutic
effect of 112 cases, 97 cases were CR (86.6%).The 97 cases
of CR patients were followed up, 88 cases were no relapsed,
in which 22 cases were observed for more than 3 years, 55
cases for more than 2 years. 20 cases of choriocarcinoma treated
with soporidine at dose of 25~50mg (for local use), the results
showed that in 20 cases CR 15 (75%),PR 3 (15%),the total effective
rate was 90%.
