Sources:The
whole plant with roots of Scutellaria barbata D. Don
Family Labiatae.
Constituents:
Containing polysaccharides, alkaloids, flavonoids,b-sitoste-
rol, scutellarein, scutellarin, carthamidin, etc.
Actions:The water
extract of the herb (0.5g/ml) at concentration of 5mg/ml,
acted for 24hrs, the HL-60 cells can be killed at all.
Indications:
It could be used for treatment of digestive tract, lung, cervical
carcers and chorioadenoma of choriocarcinoma. 50 cases of
primary live cancer patients were treated, 9 cases were CR,
8 cases were PR, 14 Cases were MR, 19 Cases were NC,the totual
effective rate was 62%. To increase the anticancer effect
of the herb, the choriocarcinoma and chorioadenoma treatment
of the herb, may combined with Herba Solani Nigri, Radix Arnebiae
seu Lithospermi, the lung cancer treatment may combined with
Solanum lyratum Thunb.
