Sources:The
whole plant of Sargassum fusiforme (Harv.) Setch. Family
Sargassaceae.
Constituents:
Containing alginic acid, protein, mannitol polysaccharides,
etc.
Actions: The polysaccharides
of Sargassum has certain inhibitory action on Sarcoma-180
and HepS, the inhibitory rate were 40% and 84.3% respctively.
Indications:Composite
prescription for thyroma:
The presparation composed with Sargassum,
Thallus Laminariae, Spica Prunellae and Radix Paeoniae Rubra,50
cases of thyroma were treated with the preparation and found
that the cured rate was 78%, remarkable effective rate was
18%, ineffective rate was 4%, the total effective rate was
92%.
