Sources:The
rhizoma of Sanguisorba officinalis L. Family Rosaceae.
Constituents:
Containing tannin, glycoside, sangausorbin, etc.
Actions: Tests
in vitro revealed that the hot water extract of the herb has
an inhibitory rate over 90% on JTC-26, and it was effective
against U17, H2, Hela cell lines. Studies in vivo showed that
it has an inhibitory rate of 54% on Sarcoma-180(ascite type.)

Herba Hedyotis Diffusae 35g
Fructus Sophorae 35g
Flos Sophorae 35g
Radix Sanguisorbae 20g
Herba Solani Nigri 20g
Herba Agrimoniae 20g
Radix Angelicae Sinensis 10g
Radix Astragali 10g
Herba Patriniae 10g
Squama Manitis 15g
Thllus Echloniae 15g
Hadix Notoginseng 5g
Radix et Rhizoma Rhei 5g
Tuber Dioscoreae Bulbiferae 30g
The above herbs were decocted to the
volume of 400ml, and taken divided 3 times. According to the
symptoms the other hrbs coudl increase or decrease, 30 days
as therapeutic period. The prescription was used to treat
53 cases of rectal carcinoma (without surgery), 13 cases of
which remarkable efficay, 20 cases were effecacy and 20 cases
were inefficacy.
