Constituents:Containing
ricinic oil, ricin and ricinine, etc.
Actions:Ricin
was effecitve against EAC, U14, S180 and leukemic cells. Ricin
at dose 7.5Ug/kg with ip inhibited completely EAC calls growth.
The 3% and 5% Ricin ointment, its inhibiting rates against
S180 were 40% and 48.1%.
The lipid soluble principle emulsion
from ricin oil, its life span prolongation rate against S180
ARS at 200mg/kg*7ip. was 30.6%, at 400mg/kg was 53.1%. Cross
linked monoclonal antibody of gastric cancer and ricin A combined
product at 1*10-9 M concentration, its inhibiting rates against
pritein synthesis of human gastric cell line KATO III ,up
to 71%, but has no inhibiting action against normal human
embryonic SL7 lung cell line, so, this
ricin A with MCAb has better directional funcion.
Indications:It
could be used for treatment of cervical and skin cancers.
The ricin was local external use for
treatment of 10 cases of cervical cancer, 5 cases were effective,
in 9 cases of skin cancer, 4 cases were effective. In Wuhan
medical college affiliated 2nd hospital, 23 cases of cancer
patients (10 cases of cervical cancer, 13 cases of skin cancer)
treated externally with ricin ointment, among them, 17 cases
insisted drug therapy, the results showed CR 6, PR 2, MR 1,
the total effective rate was 52.9% [11:126].
