Sources:The
roots of Pulsatilla chinensis (Bge.) Regel Family Ranunculaceae.
Constituents:
Containing triterpenoide, betulic acid anamonin, ranunculin,
etc.
Actions: Test
in vitro, the pulchinenosde A has a inhibiting action on P338
cell line at a dose of 100ug/ml.
Indications:Intravenous
injection of prollunenonin has effect on squamous cell carcinoma
of lung, undifferentiated carcinoma and melanoma.
(1)For pituitary tumor:
To immerse Radix Pulsatillae 12g in 12ml
of millet wine, after 4 hours, add 800ml water, decocted about
40min, for oral administ ration 200ml each,twice or three
times daily. The prescription combined with Chanchu Jie Du
Wan was used to treat l case of pituitary tumor for five months,
the symptoms of patient was improved such as dysopia, headache,
and so on, to follow up after 8 years, the patient had been
able to work, without headache and his vision was normal.
(2)Composite prescription of Radix Pulsatillae:
Radix Pulsatillae 12g
Rhizoma Coptidis 5g
Cortex Phellodendri 9g
Cortex Fraxini 12g
Colla Corii Asini 12g
Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata 6g
The above composite prescription was
administered orally three to ten doses.The symptoms of patient
such as appetite and spirit were improved and the temperature
becoming normal.
